Kirti Tewari, DDS

Dr. Kirti Tewari has been serving as a talented dentist in the Bronx for over 20 years. She is committed to her Bronx dental patients, providing a kind and caring approach to dentistry that leads to long-term relationships from her dental practice on White Plains Road.

Dr. Tewari was born in Mumbai, India, where she enjoyed a wonderful childhood and continues to cherish the local people, the foods and the closeness of family and friends. After marrying, she moved directly to New York in 1987. From an early age, Dr. Tewari knew she wanted to help people. Dentistry appealed to her because it offered a direct way to help patients feel better about themselves. For her, dentistry is only partly about improving a person's smile. It's also about improving confidence, sharing positive self-image and lifting a person's outlook on life.

She completed college and dental school in India, then attended the New York University School of Dentistry in 1992 to prepare for practice in the United States. After graduation, she worked as an associate for Dr. Andrew Gold in the Bronx, where she worked for nine years. In 2001, she opened her own office and has served patients at the same site ever since.

Early in practice, Dr. Tewari recognized strong interest among adults in straighter teeth and enhanced smiles, yet felt embarrassed by metal braces. Discovering Snap-On Smile, Lumineers and Invisalign® proved pivotal. These approaches allowed improvements in tooth alignment and overall appearance and function of smiles without her patients feeling embarrassed or inconvenienced.

She finds deep satisfaction in relieving severe pain and transforming smiles. Helping people feel healthier and more confident genuinely warms her heart, and patients sense that commitment. She keeps patients clear about options, puts them at ease before and during procedures and follows up after treatment. She selects team members with great care. The staff is warm, friendly, eager to help and highly skilled in their relationships with patients. She strives to retain staff for as long as possible.

Dr. Tewari lives in Scarsdale, New York, and is the parent of two college-age children. Away from the office, she enjoys cooking all kinds of food, crocheting, traveling the world and spending time with family and friends. She welcomes anyone seeking comfortable dental care, minimized discomfort and a warm, caring reception. The office staff speaks Spanish, Hindi and English to make every person feel welcome.
